Family Wills was established in the Spring of 2002 and since has written thousands of Wills throughout the North East.

Leah Hamilton, Director of Family Wills, felt that discussing peoples affairs and estates was such a delicate and personal subject, there was room for a more warm, approachable and empathetic style of taking a Will instruction; something that a female would be more suited to give. She decided on the name ‘Family Wills’ as most people are writing their Wills for the benefit of their family and with their families in mind.  She has also worked hard to establish and build up a reputable company with a high percentage of referral business and repeat business i.e. reviewed Wills. The company has continued to grow, moving into new markets and providing a valuable service to young and old alike.

Many Wills writing websites will offer Will instructions ‘over the net’.  Although we are happy to take your details in order to send more information, Family wills believes that a good Will; legally correct, accurate and satisfying all the clients requirements, can only be achieved by meeting the clients face to face.
